ExTiX is based on Ubuntu 12.10 released on October 27, 2012. The original system includes the Desktop Environment Unity (Ubuntu). In ExTiX 11 I have removed Unity and installed Gnome 3.6.1 and Cairo-Dock 3.1 instead. The system language is English.
